Photography by the amazing ~whymeohgodwhyme I love her so!!!!
We decided to have an impromptu photo shoot after getting desperately lost in the Pittsburgh countryside, and I'm pleasantly happy with the end results for how many wrong turns we did!
this is my A Link to the Past Princess Zelda, which I finished for Tekkoshocon in 3 grueling days. XD. I had a bulk of the dress done, before I took on a Freelance job, and then spent most of the con prepping this outfit with friends. I'm VERY happy with how it turned out in the end.
as a note: I shortened the arm guards because i have very short and delicate arms, and when I made them to scale, it made me look like I had huge casts on my arms. ><; I feel they look daintier as arm cuffs on my figure. If you want to stone me for making it less accurate, go right ahead. I also added some detail painting to the front piece because of a mishap with the "new" brand of fabric paint I purchased. (do not use folk art's new fabric paint EVER)it simply WOULD NOT cover any of my marking pencil lines, and made me CRAZY. there are approximately 6 layers of fabric paint, 3 layers of acrylic with a fabric medium, and 2 layers of plastic paint.
Costume is sewn, worn and modeled by me, *Sadira-Pookie 2010

Amazing!!! I wish the pic was bigger so I could see the detail on the armor, it looks so intricate! It's just all so perfect!
